Lis He

Owner/Founder

Lis has been teaching and learning languages in some capacity for over 20 years. She has a B.A in Spanish with a minor in Linguistics and a Master of Arts in Teaching in English as a Second Language from UNC Chapel Hill. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Mandarin and lived and taught in China for 5 years before returning to the US. She has taught in public and private schools as well as provided private tutoring for students grades Pre-K-University Level since the beginning of her career. She loves imagining, creating, serving and mentoring. She currently lives in Apex, NC with her 3 energetic sons who bring her lots of joy and who love a good story.
